Part Texture

Three mold textures were selected to imitate the two plastics and over-molded features on the larger, more expensive, radio pack in the product family

I worked closely with engineering and the manufacturer to ensure that the required draft angles were achievable without compromising on aesthetic, and while ensuring the parts would successfully release from the molds.

This combined with a creative approach to the surface finishes allowed us to achieve all of our goals.
